Amaro looked like a genius in August when he made the Lee deal. Now, it looks like we're getting ripped off (because if we just made this trade then, we would have saved a ton of prospects).

Am I missing something here?

It's going to be fun to watch Halladay next year but did our system (majors and farm) get better or worse because of this trade?Spider Ricohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12971803844732597916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1740761247940355610.post-11094870362879635032009-12-14T22:18:31.017-05:002009-12-14T22:18:31.017-05:00Salisbury is reporting the Phils will give up Lee,...Salisbury is reporting the Phils will give up Lee, Drabek, Taylor and D'Arnaud.

Ouch. That would be nice..

This is from Stark:

According to a source who spoke with two teams involved in the trade, Toronto would get highly regarded Mariners pitching prospect Phillippe Aumont, Phillies catching prospect Travis d'Arnaud and another Phillies prospect in exchange for Halladay. Indications are that the Phillies have balked at Toronto's repeated requests for outfielder Domonic Brown, and the Phillies are offering highly touted outfielder Michael Taylor insteaddochttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07569805225693572161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1740761247940355610.post-13945169625373499522009-12-14T20:08:16.864-05:002009-12-14T20:08:16.864-05:00Mitch Williams was on MLB Network on the Hot Stove...Mitch Williams was on MLB Network on the Hot Stove saying that the Phils are keeping all of their prospects.
