Blonde Woman Taken to Hospital from Tiger's Mansion

An unidentified blonde woman was taken from Tiger Woods’ mansion this morning, according to reports. The woman was transported by ambulance “on advanced life support”. Another blonde woman was seen getting out of a black Escalade at the same hospital.

Scary stuff.

Jesper Who? What?

Ok anyone with the name Jesper should not be allowed to speak. Has anyone heard the comments that he made? Jesper and his wife supposedly introduced their nanny at the time (Elin Nordegrin) to Tiger. Let's be honest here, Tiger is not exactly setting the world on fire with his looks, so his billion dollars are clearly more attractive than he is. Jesper is acting like Elin is a saint. I am sure that she has her flaws just like Tiger does. Like marrying Tiger for his money. The only reason that Elin even gave Tiger a chance was because of his fame and fortune. I guarantee if Tiger wrote blogs for Dirty Wudders, he would have been laughed at by Elin. I am not saying that Tiger is right, because he really screwed up, but for Jesper to make these comments about him are outrageous. He is probably just jealous at the fact that Tiger whips his ass in golf, and gets WAY MORE GIRLS THAN HE DOES. For any of you that do not know who Jesper Parnevik is, he is the asshole that wears that stupid hat and dresses up like a dick every Sunday when he loses in golf week in and week out. I mean, he should not be able to make any comments just because of the way he dresses. Panevik is quoted as saying "Next time she should use a driver instead of a 3-iron. If I were Tiger I wouldn't take these comments lightly. The PGA should make things interesting and pair these two up at the first major of 2010, and see what happens. I would love to see Tiger beat the hell out of this foreigner. Read More

Don't Act So Surprised

Tiger, Tiger, Tiger, what are we going to do with you? You cheater! You liar! How can we ever forgive you? A professional athlete cheating on his spouse is something this country will not stand for! Drug use, rape, domestic abuse and even murder are all acceptable crimes, but adultery! That’s a nish nish, my friend, and now you’re in the sights of the tabloids – not a good place to be. Piss off UsWeekly and piss off the masses, apparently. The coverage of this thing has been extraordinary, you’d think he raped (Kobe), beat (the list is too long), or murdered (OJ, Caruth)…give me a f*cking break. Get off your high horse, America, you’ll forgive and forget in no time.

Are we really so naïve in this country to believe our cherished and beloved professional athletes don’t have moments of weakness? So easily we forget Kobe, Ewing, Mutumbo, the Vikings Sex Boat, etc…this sh*t happens! Men are weak! And we’re not talking about moments of weakness a normal man would experience, we’re talking about model-caliber women (in most cases) throwing their hotness in the faces of these guys when they’re vulnerable…drunk… away from home. There’s a name for these people, they’re called Star-F*ckers, and they’re widespread in places like Vegas, LA and New York - they’re pariahs and they’re awful human beings, but they exist. To be clear, I am not attempting to condone Tiger’s behavior by any means, I’m merely saying don’t act so surprised. This.Sh*t.Happens. In celebrity/athlete circles, this happens every day. Tiger is human, he’s a man, and he’s got an ego the size of Doc’s head, do you really expect him to control himself in a situation such as this?

Honestly, I think finding out he didn’t cheat on his wife would be more shocking.  He is, arguably, the most famous athlete in the world, worth millions and is fairly young. The temptation he is put through on a daily basis is more than anyone reading this blog will ever know (especially this blog), and if anything I feel this proves Tiger is human. I wouldn’t worry about it if I was him, a major tourney victory or two and all is forgotten.  He’ll be sexing with Mutumbo in no time.

Bottom line: Don’t act so surprised, America. It’s not the first time one of our golden boys has taken a fall, and it won’t be the last. He’ll get back up, redeem himself, and we’ll love him again – you know we will.

This, on the other hand, I find disturbing. It’s an email allegedly send to Rachel Uchitel from Tiger’s email:

“I had a dream we were married and I was leading the tournament,” he allegedly wrote. “I came home, excited to see you, and there you were in the bedroom getting f - - -ed by Derek and David. Some part of me thinks you would like that. But now I can’t get back to sleep. My body is tired, but mind awake. Need an Ambien.”

What the f*ck is that all about? Dreaming about Derek Jeter is understandable; just ask Sec202, but David Boreanz? Seriously? Angel from the WB? 6ABC’s own Dave Roberts’ son (tell me I’m not the only one who knows that)? I could see dreaming about Dave Roberts, but Bones? And who dreams about being married anyway? If anything, I’m dreaming the exact opposite!  What a weirdo!

Tiger Statement

Tiger Woods Statement: "I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family ... I will strive to be a better person and the husband and father that my family deserves. For all of those who have supported me over the years, I offer my profound apology."

Turnberry

The Alisa Course at Turnberry will be the site of this year’s Open Championship, only the third time in British Open history the tournament will be played at the fabled course. The 7,204 yard, Par-70 Scottish course is known for being notoriously windy, as are most Open courses, and is famous for weeding out weaker players and producing quality champions. The three Open winners Turnberry produced in the past were Tom Watson (’77), Greg Norman (’86) and Nick Price (’94), arguably the best golfers in the world at the time of their respective victories. .

If the course lives up to its reputation this week, don’t be surprised if Tiger Woods is hoisting the trophy over his head this Sunday. Tiger is playing for his 4th British Open title, the last coming in 2006 at Royal Liverpool. He’s coming off a win at the Memorial Tournament in June, and has been playing solid golf all year. Winner of the last two British Opens, Padraig Harrington has been struggling with consistency over the last year. After winning 3 majors in 13 months, Paddy decided to change his swing – the results have been less than stellar. Going into this weekend’s tournament he's ranked 137th in putting (1.793 putts per green), 182nd in driving accuracy (52.8 percent of fairways hit) and 182nd in greens in regulation (60.06 percent).

No surprise here, but I’m taking Tiger to dominate. I can’t see anyone else winning this week, not the way he has been playing this year.

The Open kicks off at 7am on TNT tomorrow morning.

Naturally, Vegas set the odds at 2 to 1 for a Tiger victory.

You won’t be watching the British Open in HD this year. Pathetic

The Morning After

Mrs. Woods...

What you missed last night...and the U.S. Open...

Blue Jay 7 Phils 1: Rookie Scott Richmond struck out 11 batters in 8 innings last night as the Blue Jays cruised to a 7-1 victory over the the Phils. Jamie Moyer struggled all night, giving up 6 runs and 10 hits in 6 innings, including a 3 run 1st inning. The Phils bats didn't help the situation much either, the way they were swinging you would have thought Doc Halladay was pitching for Toronto last night. The Phillies are 2-10-1 in home series this season. Their only victories are against the lowly Washington Nationals. Pathetic.

Nationals 3 Yankees 2: Speaking of the lowly Nationals, John Lannan went 8.1 innings last night in New York to lead the Nats to victory over the Bronx Bombers. Adam Dunn homered and Nick Johnson hit a two-run triple for Washington, helping to improve their record to 7-24 on the road. Embattled Yanks starter Chien-Ming Wang actually pitched pretty good for a change, allowing 3 runs and 6 hits in a season high 5 innings.

U.S. Open: Tiger Woods begins his U.S. Open title defense this morning at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, NY. Bethpage is one of the toughest courses in America, and the rainy conditions will do nothing but make the course even tougher. Most fans will be rooting on Phil Mickelson, whose wife was diagnosed with breast cancer not too long ago. This will be Lefty's only Major appearance this year and he's hoping to suppress his emotions for the next four days and bring home a victory for his wife. Tiger was set to tee off at 8:06am and Phil at 1:36pm. I'll be rooting for Tiger to dominate.

The Greatest of All Time

Tiger Woods is the greatest athlete I have ever seen in my lifetime. There, I said it. I will argue this point with whoever wants to discuss the merits of golf being a sport, Tiger being an athlete, or who compares to his domination of their respective sport. His win yesterday was a work of art, coming back from four strokes down to win The Memorial in classic Tiger fashion - hitting all 14 fairways, and driving a stake through the field’s collective heart with a 7-iron from 185 yards on the 18th – 5” from the cup. Perfection.

His “competition” shrivels on Sunday when they see him in the rearview mirror, or throw in the white towel when looking up at him on the scoreboard. I cannot remember another athlete literally striking fear into opponents the way Tiger does - the man is Mike Tyson in his prime stepping into the ring - opponents are KO’d before the fight even begins.

Tiger has not had a legitimate rival since arriving on the PGA Tour in 1996. Phil Mickelson was supposed to challenge Tiger for the #1 ranking in the world, to be the Larry Bird to Tiger’s Magic Johnson, but aside from a few wins here and there he can’t hold a candle to what the man has accomplished. He is the perennial MVP of his league, can you imagine Lebron James (or anyone) winning the MVP award for 13 straight seasons? That’s what Tiger has done.

If Major wins on the PGA Tour are comparable to Championships in the NBA, MLB, NBA or NHL, who can compete with his 14 and counting. He is showing no signs of slowing down, and golf fans should feel lucky to have the opportunity to watch the master at work. Tiger Woods is a freak, plain and simple. He is the greatest athlete of my time, with the drive to become the greatest athlete of all time. Read More

Weekend Recap

Here are some notes on a very good sports weekend:

MEMORIAL: Tiger Woods won the Memorial on Sunday with a 7 under 65 after trailing by 4 going into the day. Woods iced it on 18 with a 183 foot 7 iron that he put a foot from the hole. I guess there are some who would be happy with that shot. This is the 4th time he has won the Memorial at Muirfield Village. The US Open is in 2 weeks at Bethpage Black where Woods will look to defend his title. If Tiger plays anywhere near what he played today, you might as well wrap it up.

STANLEY CUP: The Detroit Red Wings are 1 win away from their 5th Stanley Cup in the past 12 years. Red Wings star Pavel Datsyuk returned for game 5 and made his presence known right away, leveling Evgeni Malkin early in the 1st period and assisting on the first (soft) goal of the game. Detroit outclassed Pittsburgh in the 5-0 W. Its too bad people just don't care about hockey. Its amazing how Detroit has stayed dominant through the years. After the strike, there was a salary cap implemented and the game completely changed on the ice, yet the Wings keep winning as if they have Yzerman, Fedorov, Dino Ciccarelli, Paul Coffey and Nicklaus Lindstom...Ok maybe I still play NHL '94 a little too much... I take that back, no such thing as too much

BELMONT: Summer Bird knocked off favorite Mine that Bird and held off Dunkirk to win the Belmont on Saturday afternoon. Larry Bird and former Phil, Paul Byrd failed to make it out of the gate. Big Bird and Tweety Bird could not be reached for comment. A $2 trifecta paid out $295

NBA FINALS: The Orlando Magic had their chance to knock off the Lakers on Sunday night after Courtney Lee beat Kobe on a back screen but he cheesed a last second alley oop layup at the end of regulation. DirtyWudders enemy JJ Redick hit a big 3 to tie up the game late in the 4th. The Lakers won the OT 13-8 to take a commanding 2 games to nothing lead as the series shifts to Orlando.

FRENCH OPEN: Roger Federer defeated Robin Soderling on Sunday to capture his first French Open Title and 14th major title. The French Open completes the Career Grand Slam for Federer.

PHILS: The 2 best teams in baseball collided in L.A. this weekend and ended up with a 2/2 split. The Phils had their chances but 2 blown saves by Brad Lidge cost them 2 W's. The Phillies defense has been one of the tops in baseball this season but a couple of gaffes by Bruntlett and Feliz hurt them on Friday night (Saturday am), and I don't know if its just me but I think Jayson Werth could have had that shot by Furcal on Saturday. Regardless, something has to give with Lidge. It looked like he was starting to come around a little bit until these most recent BS's. Read More
