Detroit Scores Early
The Detroit Pistons strike early and grab Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva on the first day of free agency. Joe Dumars has been a busy man in recent days, firing Michael Curry after only one year on Tuesday.
Quickly becoming UCONN Central, Gordon and Villanueva join Rip Hamilton as former University of Connecticut players on Detroit. Gordon signed a 5 yr $55 Million deal and Villanueva signed a 5 yr deal, expected to be about $35 million.
