Philadelphia at LA Dodgers
The Phillies and the Dodgers meet in a rematch of the 2008 NLCS. Last year's NLCS MVP takes the hill against Clayton Kershaw. This will be 5th time these teams have met in the postseason (2-2) and the Phillies have won 7 of the last nine playoff games between the 2. Cole Hamels is 4-0, 1.64 ERA career against the Dodgers. Kershaw is the third youngest pitcher to ever start in a postseason game but is 0-2 this year against the Phils with an ERA over 5. Starting lineups after the jump.

I'm sticking with Preseason prediction of Phils in 7 - Hamels MVP
ReplyDeleteThere goes the no no. 1 out single for Victo after a bad at-bat by Rollins
ReplyDeleteBomb to the warning track for Utley and Victo picked off. End of a half inning
ReplyDeleteanyone hear Ron Darling call Utley "flashy" in the pre-game?
ReplyDeleteGotta love TBS
ReplyDeleteI sware Hamels balks everytime someone is on first base
ReplyDeleteSit down Manny
ReplyDeletesit down Manny
ReplyDeleteSingle by Eithier and Kemp..I hate fantasy baseball because I automatically thought thats +2 for me.
ReplyDeletegot out of it. 0-0 after 1
ReplyDeleteI know that "it's LA" but can this crowd be any more DEAD?
ReplyDeleteThey won't fill it until the 4th
ReplyDeleteDodgers will be tough to beat if Kershaw is this nasty
ReplyDeleteVictorino and Martin are going to throw punches this series.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see Victo's "not at my head" dance
ReplyDeleteHe's been nasty except for the two warning track shots.
ReplyDeleteC'mon Hamels, Loney stinks
ReplyDeleteShit!

ReplyDeleteHamels almost beat that out
ReplyDeleteC'mon Cole

ReplyDeleteThat hurts with Manny coming up. 2 on, 2out, up 3
ReplyDeleteWhy did i know that was coming?
ReplyDelete5-4 - i meant there was only 1 on - above
ReplyDeleteThat little bullshit expression that Hamels made to Utley and Rollins after the error was bullshit!
ReplyDeleteYeah I noticed that too.
ReplyDeleteSecond straight game that the best double play combo in baseball made a costly error.
Was that play ruled a FC and an error? I'm trying to figure out why Cole has 4 ER. Im guessing thats the case
ReplyDeleteFantasy baseball is over. Hamels ERA doesn't matter to you anymore.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah i won the championship, thats right
ReplyDelete5.1 is not good enough Hamels
ReplyDeleteC'mon Durbin!
ReplyDeleteChalie loves starters out of the pen
ReplyDeleteHapp is pitching game 4 right? Gotta get Thome out here
ReplyDeleteThey would not have let us wait for a pinch runner to get his shoes on.
ReplyDeleteThat's bullshit!
That's big!
ReplyDeleteWow - that was big
ReplyDeleteCairo? Really?
ReplyDeleteI think Rollins only hits have been in the ninth inning - this postseason

ReplyDeleteNeed some 1-2-3's
ReplyDeleteListening to these announcers, you would think the Dodgers were the '27 Yankees and they were winning by 10 runs.
ReplyDeleteWhat is going on with Madson?
ReplyDeletejeeezus.
ReplyDeleteI thought they would bring in Eyre against Either but i guess because he is 1-11
ReplyDeleteok and they just said he is 3-6 with a homer against Eyre
ReplyDeleteMadson is killing the Phils
ReplyDeleteCan they bring Ho back in? Oh thats not allowed...
ReplyDeleteI need sleep
ReplyDeleteRollins likes the ninth
ReplyDeleteLook at the empty seats behind home plate. That is embarassing
ReplyDeleteyeah - don't know which is worse - the empty seats or the people with their feet up.
ReplyDeleteHere we go Lidge!
ReplyDeleteRT @ Jasonst "OK, I know ur wondering. Last time Brad Lidge saved 3 straight games: 4 months ago. He saved 4 in a row May 28-June 1 vs the Nats and Padres "
ReplyDeleteNot gonna be easy...
ReplyDeleteRT@ ToddZolecki Here comes Brad Lidge. His numbers against: Kemp (1-3, triple), Blake (2-3, RBI, K) and Loney (2-3, walk).
