In the most shocking news to come around since we found out Caster Semenya has a bird, Albert Pujols was unanimously voted NL MVP for the third time in his already illustrious career. This race has been over since June, so this really shouldn’t even be considered news.
Hanley Ramirez, the NL batting champion, was second with 233 points, followed by Philly’s own Ryan Howard third (217) and Milwaukee's Prince Fielder fourth (203), who tied Howard for the big league lead in RBIs. I thought Howard would get second, but it’s hard to argue against Hanley’s numbers.
No doubt about that one..If he is healthy he will compete for the MVP every year.
