Ugly. La Salle turned the ball over 27 times giving Villanova their 20th win in the last 21 Big 5 games. Scottie Reynolds and Antonio Pena each scored 14 points for the Cats who won the game 81-63. Kimmani Barrett led all scorers with 17 for La Salle with Aaric Murray chipping in with 15 and 14. Nova improves to 6-0 and La Salle drops to 3-2.
Solid win for Villanova. They may not have shown the play of a top 10 team yet but they keep on winning and they seem like a fairly deep squad. La Salle needs Green to score more than 7 points if they hope to compete.
