Roy Halladay has told the Blue Jays he will exercise his no-trade clause during the 2010 season, according to ESPN’s Buster Olney. Olney reported this morning on Mike & Mike that if Toronto does not trade him this offseason, then he’s not going anywhere until he hits the free agent market. He will not accept any trade offers throughout the 2010 season. J.P. Ricciardi has really backed himself into a corner here, he either has to trade him and get something, or watch him sign with another team following next season and get squat. Olney did mention Philly as a possible landing spot…commence rumor mongering.
Wasn't Ricciardi fired?
ReplyDeleteYeah he was canned
ReplyDeleteI don't think they should trade for Halliday. Wait until after the season because more than likely Lee will be gone.
