Andrews Out for the Season

I know this is shocking news, but Eagles offensive lineman Shawn Andrews has been placed on injured reserve, ending his season before it even began.  Apparently he re-injured his back at practice on Wednesday.  Translation: He’s a huge pussy who has no interest in playing football. Two weeks ago I would have been pretty pissed about this, but Winston Justice looked pretty good against Carolina, and if nothing else his performance should give Eagles fans some hope for the remainder of the season.  I don’t if I’m alone in feeling this way, but I hope this is the last chapter in the Shawn Andrews-Eagles saga. I’m sick of his shit.

    What a waste of talent. I agree, I am done with him.

    How about Peters? I was saying that he was a complete bust all preseason and for much of the First Quarter - because of the 2 false starts. I'm not sold on him but he looked pretty dominant run blocking. I wonder if he knows that this ain't the place to be if you are a great run blocker.

    Doc - Remember that Kevin Kolb is now the starting QB. Andy will be forced to run the ball now.
