Eagles sign Garcia

The Eagles will sign quarterback Jeff Garcia, a league source confirmed to the Daily News' Les Bowen, and the Eagles later announced. The Eagles were expected to re-sign AJ Feeley but he signed with Carolina.

It's not often you can find a QB of this caliber off the scrap heap. I'm not sure what the plan will be for this week's game but Garcia gives the Eagles a pretty good chance to win. Kolb may too but he hasn't shown anything yet. I would expect Kolb on Sunday with Garcia warming up in the bullpen.

  1. I am all about Garcia Starting over Kolb. The Saint's offense doesn't mess around. We dont have time for Kolb to get used to the speed of the game. Don't get me wrong I want Kolb to be the future of this team but so far I don't see it. He didn't impress me on Sunday. He looked confused out there. I predict Kolb will start but will not be able to move the ball. Garcia will come in and who knows if he still has the fire he had a few seasons ago. If he does come in and some how has a great game it looks like the annual QB controversy will again be a reality in Philly.
