The Birds take on Sherm Lewis and the Redskins tonight in what should be an easy victory for the Eagles. I am fairly confident the Birds will dominate, but after last week's game who the hell knows what team will show up. Leave your comments after the jump.
I'm predicting 27-10...what do you think?

31-13 Go Birds!
ReplyDeleteJaws has an annoying delivery
ReplyDeleteI cant believe Sherm Lewis is calling the plays. Just another one of Dan Snyder's genius moves.
ReplyDeleteJaws: Campbell is in a "mental slump"...No - he is just a terrible QB
ReplyDeleteI love how Matt Millen was there when Steve Young was talking about shitty front offices
ReplyDeleteagainst all teams but the Eagles
ReplyDeleteI saw that. You could tell Millen was not happy about that. I was waiting for Young to say - "you should know Matt"
ReplyDeleteT.O. stinks
ReplyDeleteT.O. has B.O.
ReplyDeleteTwo runs in a row!
ReplyDeleteNice movement
ReplyDeleteJackson is ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteWOw...Jackson almost made a big mistake there.
ReplyDeleteJackson did the same thing on his TD run! He's gotta hold onto that!
ReplyDeleteGood evening gentlemen...
You guys see the Jackson promo on the pre game show?
ReplyDeleteANdy would probably deny that stat they just showed - that he is the most pass-happy coach of all-time.
ReplyDeleteThe Jackson promo was hilarious! Did you hear him say it is "unpossible" to cover him man-to-man? Genius.
ReplyDeleteYeah it was like Ocho-Owens.
ReplyDeleteShit. B-West is down.
ReplyDeleteThere's gotta be a ton of Eagles fans there!
ReplyDeleteWho's hurt?
Damn that's big!
ReplyDeleteThis doesn't look good at all.
ReplyDeleteConcussion probably, right?
ReplyDeleteHe'll be fine
ReplyDeleteMaybe neck
ReplyDeleteJim Zapala wants to see ya in a Kia.
ReplyDeleteHe can also go blow himself
I want to punch Jim Zapala in the fucking throat. HMan, you're so lucky you're in FL and don't have to see these commercials.
ReplyDeleteHow does a DTackle get called for holding on a run?
ReplyDeleteShit Campbell has alot of time back there
ReplyDeleteThe Birds D is due for a turnover. One of many on the night.
ReplyDeleteBTW sick of Wanda Sykes show commercials
ReplyDeleteIs this a typical Eagles game where the first drive of scripted plays produces the best offensive results?
ReplyDeleteJackson is the cockiest dude in football. I would hate him if he was on any other team...
ReplyDelete..but he's not..
..so I love him
Wanda Sykes is a bull dyke.
ReplyDeleteWhy cant Westbrook be healthy for just one game!
ReplyDelete@McNabbulous: I agree, this is so typical of the Eagles. They always stall after the first drive.
ReplyDeleteYeah cockiness plus ignorance is always a combination that produces a love or hate feeling
ReplyDeleteWhy aren't we throwing the deep ball more? DJax and JMac are burners and DMac can throw a pretty good deep ball. Heck, you may even get an interference call.
ReplyDeleteNamesake - I'ma be me
ReplyDeleteFellas, I think we've got another 2+ page blog on our hands.
ReplyDeleteMcNabb has not thrown a pass outside of ten yards yet. Andy Reid is a fat conservative Mormon
ReplyDeleteMcNab I think the record is game 4 328 posts
ReplyDeleteThe 'Skins are not a very good team but we do have to give them some credit. For the most part, they put up solid defensive #'s.
ReplyDelete"I'm so quick, my moves are ridiculous, it's unpossible to cover me one on one." - D.Jackson
ReplyDeleteHMan - what a great night that was!!
ReplyDeleteIF this game is close, we might knock on that door especially with Sec 202 and namesake on board.
We haven't thrown more than 10 yards because we're actually running the ball. The long ball will be open.
ReplyDeletewell if they do not test this defense, the eagles are going to find themselves in a HOLE like last week. Heck Fellas maybe McNabbulous will dig it
ReplyDeleteMcNabbulous called it! Good shit.
ReplyDeleteWill Witherspoon!
ReplyDeleteYeah Namesake that promo is definately worthy of further review
ReplyDeleteI just lost in fantasy on that play.
ReplyDeleteDid that guy just say seepage?
ReplyDeleteLooks like the Birds found a LB.
ReplyDeleteIs this guy for real?
ReplyDeleteYea he looks real good so far
ReplyDeleteSpooned!!!
ReplyDeletewait... whoops
ReplyDeleteStar Ship 7 wtf
ReplyDeleteNot to be too negative here (Spider knows I'm typically not negative)
ReplyDeleteBut....
Out of the Eagles wins this year (Car, TB, KC, and hopefully WAS) have we seen a solid offensive performance. Solid drives, etc.
OR - is it the product of defensive turnovers and some big/trick plays?
I guess what I'm saying is that we really don't know this offense and that when we play a good team we may get exposed in a bad way.
Sec202- you wearing your Vick jersey right now?
ReplyDeleteI like Gruden, but he definitely has a man crush on Vick. He just got a boner over a 4 yard pass
ReplyDeleteHow is it that McNab is still throwing at peoples feet.
ReplyDeleteOh absolutely I like Vick as much as Jim Zapala
ReplyDeleteWe won't know what this team is all about until they play the Giants, Cowboys, Chargers.
ReplyDeleteMcNabbulous I am sorry i mistakened you for someone else
ReplyDeleteWhats with officials across sports this year?
ReplyDeleteIt's a cospiracy run by Donaghy from prison.
ReplyDeleteGruden sounds like an announcer in a video game.
ReplyDeleteThat was a big penalty by Cole.
ReplyDeleteWOW - they take Portis out at the goalline.
ReplyDeleteBeat.
ReplyDeletewho the hell missed coverage there....Macho?
ReplyDeleteMacho sucks.
ReplyDeleteNow is about the time Andy will panic and completely abandon any form of a run game.
ReplyDeleteHow does he get so wide open? It actually looked like he stepped out before he caught that TD Pass. Someone who can rewind needs to check that for me.
ReplyDeleteNamesake - I'm on board with you.
ReplyDeleteNo he didn't.
ReplyDeleteDid i hear correctly that London Fletcher is 5 foot 6 linebacker?
ReplyDeleteWell there was his shot...say bye to the run game
ReplyDeleteVick sucks...why are we wasting time trying to give him playing time?
ReplyDelete"They're startin to get lathered up" -Gruden
ReplyDeleteJust keep McNabb in. You are not fooling anyone by putting in Vick
ReplyDeleteTotal waste of a play on 2nd down.
ReplyDelete"They're startin to get lathered up"
ReplyDeleteHilarious!
Redskins are a joke
ReplyDeleteSean Jones is still on this team?
ReplyDeletehow about throwing the ball to the recievers
ReplyDeleteMcNabb is struggling!
ReplyDeleteThe Eagles just aren't that good. Nice pass Don.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how disappointed we all can be when we're up 20-7.
ReplyDeleteThe Redskins are pretty bad!
Jackson was wide open on that play
ReplyDeleteThe Redskins are atrocious and you're letting a home NFC East team stay in the game. Like I said, they have a pretty good defense, but that comment only carries so much weight.
ReplyDeleteWe're up 20-7. They're not really in the game.
ReplyDeleteGood thing Campbell sucks.
ReplyDeleteCampbell is a mess...How 'bout all that GREEN in the stands.
ReplyDeleteWay to support Philly!!
Yea I agree you have to go in for the kill at this point. You need touchdowns off of these turnovers.
ReplyDeleteWe could be up 35-0 right now and we wouldn't be satisfied.
ReplyDeleteWe should be up 35-0
ReplyDeleteOK - maybe I overstated that a bit. But it's only a two possession game. A turnover here or there and they're back in it.
ReplyDeleteDid you see that pass to the ref? that was his best throw all game
ReplyDeleteI feel like they're losing right now.
ReplyDeleteWhat did I say about the first drive.
ReplyDeleteIt's all too predictable anymore.
We're missing Westbrook back there.
ReplyDeleteMcCoy can't block!
Maclin in the endzone right here!
ReplyDeleteWIDE OPEN
ReplyDeleteabout time
ReplyDeleteor Jackson!
ReplyDeleteThere's the deep ball. It should be used at least once a series.
ReplyDeleteThere it is! Good stuff.
ReplyDeleteBack to what Spider said earlier...I would absolutely HATE D.Jackson if he wasn't on the Eagles. He taunts on every TD he scores. With that said, I love him.
The ball was still under thrown haha
ReplyDeleteI'm a big McNabb guy but that ball was UNDERTHROWN!
ReplyDeleteEveryone should just go to bed already because there's no possible way that we will be satisfied tonight.
ReplyDeleteToo much negative speak.
It's fuckin 27-7 and we're complaining.
ReplyDeleteDuring half make sure everyone clicks on the ads on the page
ReplyDeleteAnybody up for Birds Trivia?
ReplyDeleteSpider do you know that Randy Ready interviewed for the Astros manager job
ReplyDeleteI'm up for trivia.
ReplyDeleteRandy Ready? Ha! Is Tim Tuffle next?
ReplyDeleteI want some birds trivia....
ReplyDeleteI just think we've all seen the same act from the Eagles and it's very frustrating, especially when the Phils are on the brink of re-peating. I'm on board with this team all the way, but we've got a very tough stretch ahead of us. I think we can match-up with the best of them, but they need to show me more.
Ed Wade can't get enough of old Phils. I think Rob Ducey is next in the interview process
ReplyDeleteWho holds the Eagles all-time record for interceptions?
ReplyDeleteClick on some ads, damn it. Sec202's got a family to feed for God's sake!
ReplyDeleteEric Allen
ReplyDeleteGotta be Eric Allen.
ReplyDeleteYea, I'm pretty sure it was Eric Allen with B-Dawk like one or two behind the record.
ReplyDeletePartial credit..
ReplyDeleteand...
BDawk is also correct, but still partial credit...
ReplyDelete...one more guy had 34 ints.
Troy Vincent?
ReplyDeleteMichael Zordich
ReplyDeleteAndre DIRTY WUDDERS!!
ReplyDeleteZordich and vincent are incorrect.
ReplyDeleteNice McNabbulous
ReplyDeleteDirty Wudders is also incorrect.
ReplyDeleteHaha - had to say it.
ReplyDeleteMark McMillan?
Go back to the 70s.
ReplyDeleteHerm Edwards
ReplyDeleteHe ran for President a couple years ago...
ReplyDelete...or Congress
...or something.
Oh he ran for VP with Kerry
ReplyDeleteBill Bradley
ReplyDeletei forget his name
ReplyDeleteBy the way - they reached the O/U in the first half
ReplyDeleteBill Bradley is correct.
ReplyDeleteAllen, Dawk and Bradley had 34 INTs.
There you go doc, mind's always on the prize!
ReplyDeleteVP for Kerry? Who was that? John Edwards? He didn't pick off many passes
ReplyDeleteDO YOU SEE THIS COMMERCIAL?
ReplyDeleteJohn Edwards was a stud DB in his day.
ReplyDeleteoh i dont know i thought i remembered hearing Kerry's VP playing for the Eagles or something
ReplyDeleteOakland lost to the Jets 38-0 yesterday...How the F did the eagles lose to that team?
ReplyDeletei was reaching on that one
ReplyDeleteHow many TD passes did the trio of 1998 Eagles QBS (Bobby Hoying, Koy Detmer, Rodney Peete) throw throughout the season?
ReplyDeleteEveryone gets an answer, closest to the correct answer gets it.
Because the Eagles aren't that good.
ReplyDelete13
ReplyDeleteKoy Detmer is Doc's Boy
ReplyDelete15
ReplyDeleteDoc - b/c the Jets knocked them out early and they gave up. Just like the Eagles should have done.
ReplyDeleteHow can the trademark Andy Reid scripted plays opening drive run NOT WORK on the Raiders??
Still waiting on Sec202 and Doc.
ReplyDeleteAnd Hman is he's out there.
is it closest without going over like the Price is right? If it is i am going with 1
ReplyDeleteAsante Samual is a bitch!
ReplyDeleteAsante is afraid to tackle
ReplyDeleteif its not then i will go with 8
ReplyDeleteClosest...over or under.
ReplyDeleteShit I missed the question - I dont know 12
ReplyDeleteSec202 is closest.
ReplyDeleteThe answer is a paltry...7
Hoying started 7 games and threw 0.
Koy started 5 games and threw 5.
Peete started 4 games and threw 2.
....
Doesn't that make McNabb sound pretty good??
That team went a BOOMING 3-13 for the season.
ReplyDeleteHow could he start 7 games and throw 0 TD's? How could a coach let that go on for 7 games? Unbelievable.
ReplyDeleteKOY THE BOY!
ReplyDeleteGood point Namesake...
ReplyDeleteYour answer: It was Ray Rhodes last year as Eagles head coach.
That was the year before the Doug Pederson era began
ReplyDeleteHow about how this team has changed pretty quickly offensively.
ReplyDeleteDJax - 2nd year
Celek - 2nd year
JMac - 1st year
McCoy - 1st year
The entire line has been completely re-done and is very young.
If we can start clicking, we can be dangerous.
However, I'm still scared as to our lack of ability to drive the football down the field.
To me, you're not going to win a Super Bowl living off of the big play on the turnover.
ReplyDeleteGood teams don't allow this many big plays and definitely don't turn the ball over this much.
King is going to get McNabb killed.
ReplyDeleteWhere's CELEK???
ReplyDeleteIs it King or Justice?
ReplyDeleteNow was is THAT necessary to call a TO there?
ReplyDeleteThe line is young...and not very good right now
ReplyDeleteJustice was listed as the starter.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was Peters - wasn't that the left side?
ReplyDeleteHas Umanura (sp?) ever end up giving Winston Justice 50% of his contract? He sure as hell deserves it.
ReplyDeleteI would like to drop the Andrews brothers off in the middle of the Atlantic and see the bastards get their Michael Phelps on then.
ReplyDeleteThey really irritate me.
Starters were Peters, Herremans, Jackson, Cole, Justice on the right
ReplyDeleteTwo fat guys getting high while trying to float in the middle of the Atlantic? That would be interesting.
ReplyDeleteI was actually leaning towards the swimming part there but funny either way.
ReplyDeleteThey would be more like buoys in the atlantic those fat asses
ReplyDeleteIs that noise that Gruden is making mean that Jackson is fast?
ReplyDeleteWashington is terrible
ReplyDeletenice hit!
ReplyDeleteDid anyone see McNabb try to make a block?
ReplyDeleteNow McCoy's hurt?
Where's Eldridge Bunk?
Maclin's just finding his way but he's clearly not as fast as DJax.
ReplyDeleteI'm out make sure that you check in tomorrow for World Series matchups position by position. Everyone have a good night
ReplyDeleteDid I say WHERE'S CELEK??
ReplyDeleteJackson did not want to catch that ball.
ReplyDeleteJax just shortarmed that one...
ReplyDelete...for who? for what?
Philly already has a clear ADV. position-by-position but not if you ask ESKIN. What a jackass! He said Teixeira is ahead of Howard and Cano was ahead of Utley!
ReplyDeleteYou shouldn't have Jax in that position to begin with.
ReplyDeleteSpider - you are 2/2 on the DW blogs with Ricky Watters references.
He didn't say Cano was ahead of Utley did he?
ReplyDeleteWhen was my other?
ReplyDeleteAnybody getting pumped thinking about this Sunday?!?!?! Thanks to the Cards, we're playing for FIRST PLACE in that game.
ReplyDeleteI'll be at the Giants game but would much rather be at the Phils game.
Anybody wanna trade??
I believe you wrapped him in with Cole Hamels.
ReplyDeleteI backed off the Hamels comment. That was below the belt.
ReplyDeleteNow, why don't we throw Vick in for the 4th Qtr so we can actually pull a somewhat good draft pick for him next season.
ReplyDeleteRedskins aren't coming back.
