St. Joe's (-3) opens a new era tonight when Drexel comes to the new fieldhouse in an early season big 5 match-up(Yeah but it should be). Neither team has high expectations this year but both are looking to jump off to a good start. Drexel wins a low scoring game, 48-42.
Penn (+15)travels to central Pennsylvania to take on the Nits at the Bryce Jordan Center in the season opener for both teams. PSU is coming off an NIT Championship, after getting snubbed on Selection Sunday and Penn is hoping to climb back into the IVY title picture. State takes it 68-50. Fairleigh Dickinson plays at Villanova. Cats take it 89-61
