Reynolds Returning to Nova

Scottie Reynolds withdrew his name from the NBA Draft pool today, opting instead to return to Villanova for his Senior season. Scottie averaged 15.2 PPG last season for the Wildcats in helping them reach the Final Four for the first time since 1985. I don't think anyone will ever forget his game winning layup against Pitt to beat the Panthers in the Elite Eight.

He tested the waters, realized it was a bad move and did the right thing. This was obviously the best decision he could have made, in my opinion. His stock will only rise by coming back for another year - and hopefully bringing home a National Title.

  1. The draft is guard heavy this year and a lot of scouts willl remember his disappearing act that occured during the beginning of last Big East season. This is definitely the best move for Scottie.

He's a player that's difficult to figure out. I think with the class that's coming into 'Nova this year and the young talent from last year, he can thrive and put himself into the All-America discussion.

  2. Absolutely best decision for Scottie and Villanova. He did what he should have done---scoped out the process--got his name out there--with good year by Villanova--especially with talented kids coming in--could be great for his career.
