The Phillies have reached agreement with the Indians on a trade that would bring them left-hander Cliff Lee and outfielder Ben Francisco for Class A right-hander Jason Knapp, Class AAA right-hander Carlos Carrasco, shortstop Jason Donald and catcher Lou Marson, according to major-league sources. The deal is pending a review of medical records. (Foxsports)

I like it. Jason Knapp is the only big time prospect they are losing and I feel like he is replacable by overpaying in the draft. Thats how they got him in the first place.
ReplyDeleteI still think they should consider Sherrill from Baltimore since Lee isn't quite the horse Halladay is.
Hamels-Lee-Blanton is a strong 1-2-3
I like it too. I love the fact that the Phils held on to Drabek, Taylor and Brown. Lots of lefties in the rotation.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be surprised if Happ still gets moved for relief help, possibly Sherrill.
Donald and Marson combined to go 2-6 in their first game, which happened to be a win over the Iron Pigs.
ReplyDeleteMarson hit 8th and Donald hit 9th for the Columbus Clippers..
Tonight Pedro throws against Carlos Carrasco.
