Fans Urged to Drink Whiskey to Ward Off Swine Flu Virus

Russian soccer fans have been told to drink whiskey on their trip to Wales for next month's World Cup qualifier to ward off the H1N1 swine flu virus, the head of the country's supporter association (VOB) said Monday.

"We urge our fans to drink a lot of Welsh whiskey as a form of disinfection," VOB head Alexander Shprygin said.

"That should cure all symptoms of the disease."
.

Dirtywudders questions the validity of this because former Phillie and current Texas Rangers pitcher, Vincente Padillia, a known boozer, would have been totally safe if this were true. Maybe Padillia is more of a wine cooler type of guy.

  1. Padilla is more of a Zima with a jolly rancher kind of guy.

Another reference to our very own DW moose. What do you think about this? Were you the one that told your fans to drink whiskey? I know you are behind this one CZAR. For those of you that dont know, Moose is a Russian that drinks whiskey all of the time and claims he is Irish. Ironic? I think not!
