Preseason!

The Eagles kick off the preseason tonight at the Linc, taking on the Patriots in a battle of two of the most talented teams in the NFL – minus the talent. Preseason football is one of the most excruciating things in the world to watch, it’s 10% actual football and 90% a bunch of guys you’ve never heard of (and likely won’t hear of again) running around trying to make the team. Andy Reid has said the starters will play a quarter and a half tonight, so let’s just pray the Eagles can make it through the game without an injury or arrest.  With the injuries to the offensive line mounting, I would expect Andy to do everything in his power to keep Donovan upright – lots of handoffs and quick routes.  I’m most interested to see what Jeremy Maclin and LeSean McCoy can do, as I’m sure most fans are, but other than that I’d prefer if the starters are in street clothes by the 2nd half.  Anyone watching the game tonight?

  1. I'll watch some of it. I think it was last years preseason game against NE when Demps and Desean both returned kicks for TD's.

  2. Vick? Really??

    Let the circus begin!

Eagles are really trying to steal some of the focus back from the Phillies, aren't they?
