Yankees Clinch....Does Anyone Here Care?

The Yankees have clinched the AL EAST!!!! Big f'ing deal. For all of you Yankee lovers out there I have news for you. You better hope that your beloved team does not see the Phils in the World Series. I am just so fed up with hearing every little thing the Yankees do. If A-Rod forgot to wipe his ass on a particular day, somehow it is the front page of the newspaper. Last year they didn't make the playoffs for the first time since Jeter was there, and it wasn't about the teams that made the playoffs, rather it was all about the Yankees not making the playoffs. Joe Girardi's job was in jeopardy, and Hank Steinbrenner was arguing with the media about wheter it was "Red Sox Nation", or "Yankees Nation". Give me a break, could you be any more childish? The Cardinals clinched the division already, and it wasn't the front page of every newspaper and web site. Who cares if they are in the playoffs, the division really doesn't mean anything if you dont win the World Series. As far as I am concerned, the Yankees are no threat to the NL. I watched the Phils this past May kick the shit out of them in the new over priced Yankee Stadium, where it is $5 for a bottle of water.

Going into the playoffs it looks like Bud Selig will fish his wish to have another Yankees vs. Red Sox ALCS. Anaheim will choke like they always do, and Detroit or Minnesota shouldn't even be allowed to play in the playoffs. All this means is that once again the World F@#%ing Champs will be playing during the day so the Yanks and Sox can play the primetime games. I would love to see a Phils/Yanks world series, just so when I go up to New York I can be as ignorant as I can when the Phils wipe their asses with the Yankees...again!
