I for one, would love to see a Game 7. Two reasons, nothing like a Game 7 and I do think it could really help the Phils - not letting NY set their rotation.

ReplyDelete2 on, 2 out for Jeter.
ReplyDeleteMelky's 9th hit in the series?
bb. loaded. C'mon saunders
ReplyDeleteDoes anybody else hate Johnny Damon and everything he stands for?
ReplyDeleteFuck you Damon grounded out inning over.
finishing the thought...
ReplyDeleteConsidering the Sox/Yanks - and how the sox finally beat them in '04, and ecspecially the way they beat them - how do you go from the Sox to the Yanks?
Can you think of anybody else similar?
Pedro going from the Mets to the Phils is different because the Mets didn't want him and quite frankly nobody else did either...Even T.O. is different because the birds and him were enemy's by the time they were done with him. Chris Boniol? just kidding...kind of
I'm sure there are others..think about it.
Bobby! 1-0 Angels
ReplyDeleteRBI single
Nice catch at the wall Bobby!

ReplyDeleteno pitchtrax? or was that tbs
ReplyDeleteYeah I noticed no pitchtrax hmmmm.... Angels got out of a potential disaster there
ReplyDeleteNice pitch Oliver.
ReplyDeleteDarren is the best Oliver since Ed
ReplyDeleteGuerrero was just yelling at the ump from second base there....

ReplyDeleteYankess win
ReplyDeletePhils at Yanks Wednesday night
Re: Johnny Damon-like players....
ReplyDeleteBrett Favre going from the Packers to the Vikings (with a pit stop in NY). I think that's even worse than Damon.
Has anyone looked at Damon's career numbers? He's been an incredibly average player throughout his career except for 2003-2004 seasons. If he played in any other town besides NYC/Boston he would be nothing.
True about Favre.
ReplyDeleteTo a lesser extent because they weren't really rivals but...The sixers couldn't beat the Pistons so Larry Brown leaves the Sixers to coach the Pistons. Scumbag
