    ReplyDelete
  4. Who cares?

I turned it on and saw Dalembert shoot a fadaway jumper on Howard...and miss badly, so I turned it off.

    ReplyDelete
  9. He was supposed to do something..perform with alisha keys or some shit

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  11. WOOOOOO!!!!! We're back baby and CONFIDENT. Am I really talking about a Philadelphia team?

Jay-Z was going to perform that New York song he's got.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Guys - this game is HUGE. I want to be up 1-0 with Pedro on the mound.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Is Joe Buck worse than Chip Carey? I say no

    ReplyDelete
  14. Over/under on fans at the sixers game is 1000

    ReplyDelete
  15. Joe Buck is more knowledgeable but he also REALLY loves himself.

I'd take Joe Buck, but ask me again after game 2.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Just like last year Utley! Come on!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Didnt Utley homer in Game 1 first inning last year?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Make this behemoth throw pitches

    ReplyDelete
  22. Utley didn't look like he was moving very well

    Nice hit!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Agreed - thought he would have at least had a chance to score there

    ReplyDelete
  24. I was sure Utley was gonna score on that!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. You think Yanks fans are a little nervous right now?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Nice AB! Bases Loaded in the 1st! The Russian's cut! He's not a machine!

    ReplyDelete
  27. @ToddZolecki: Chase Utley has reached base safely in 26 consecutive postseason games, which sets a new Major League record.

    ReplyDelete
  28. That looked like strike 2....shit!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Great inning...No runs, but CC isn't confident in his fastball! Love it!

    ReplyDelete
  30. We're going to get to him for 4+ runs in the first 5 innings.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Would've loved Utley to score from 1st.

1-0 would look a lot better.

    ReplyDelete
  32. We've just gotta continue to stay patient at the plate.

    ReplyDelete
  33. CC - 24 pitches after 1

    Lee - 11

    ReplyDelete
  34. Trivia: Who started the first ever game at this Yankee stadium?

    ReplyDelete
  35. No, I'm pretty sure that was in Cle and the score was 10-3 and Lee got the win.

Doc, I'm gonna go with the Chinese pitcher they have. Wang?

    ReplyDelete
  36. J-Roll needs to take the first pitch and just get ON BASE.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Well - all the celebs are gonna begin to take cover

  39. that was the box score from April 16th

    ReplyDelete
  40. NO RAIN DELAY - def. don't need it

    ReplyDelete
  41. The last thing we need is a rain delay....Lee is on and Sabathia isn't.

    ReplyDelete
  42. This game better not get delayed.

    ReplyDelete
  43. We've seem some rain in the World Series before, right?

    ReplyDelete
  44. No one is even taking cover in the stands...It's not raining that hard. It's just an annoyance for RH batters.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Great fight to get back in the count!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Re:Annoyance to RH batters - I bet 1.00 on the under...7/5 on centsports

    ReplyDelete
  47. Big OUT. I think it's our HD tvs making this rain look worse than it really is.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Those ETrade commercials are pretty damn funny

    ReplyDelete
  49. 2-0 and he chases it in the dirt

    ReplyDelete
  50. How many pitches does CC typically throw?

    ReplyDelete
  51. make 'em work

not sure how many he normally throws

    ReplyDelete
  52. Wow! HR after a long AB! Sound Familiar, CC?

    ReplyDelete
  53. Same impact as Myers? We will see!!!

    ReplyDelete
  54. I agree! Just like last year but in the 3rd inning!!

    ReplyDelete
  55. McN and Spider - don't forget to put your predictions in the WHO YOU GOT post

    ReplyDelete
  56. Did someone say that Chase was having a bad postseason?

    ReplyDelete
  57. just caught up - did I miss anything?

    ReplyDelete
  58. j/k utley is the freakin man

    ReplyDelete
  59. Good Evening GG...

Gotta get Damon out here! Goddamn Red Sock!

    ReplyDelete
  60. "Chase Utley, you rrrrrrr the maaaaaan!!", Harry Kalas.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Utley's was the first homer given up Yanks at Yankee, this postseason

    ReplyDelete
  62. Pete Happy has gotta be best defensive 3B since Schmitty? Right? Am I forgetting anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  63. Just kidding...some would argue Rolen

    ReplyDelete
  64. Glove - during commercial post your prediction under WHO YOU GOT post

    ReplyDelete
  65. Golden Glove, I hear you were a pretty good 3B....

Just overthrew 1 of every 2 throws.

    ReplyDelete
  66. nothin but nasty rumors - that old guy in the lawn chair near 1st shouldn't have been siting there anyway

    ReplyDelete
  67. I've actually never been a Joe Buck hater. Annoys me in football but think he is pretty good at baseball.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I'm OK with us thus far. I don't think this game is going to end 1-0. We're gonna need to get some runs.

Our top 4 hitters look like their ON for the most part.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Top of lineup is working CC - bottom is not putting up a fight

    ReplyDelete
  70. I hate Buck's HR no-calls. He barely made a sound during Utley's bomb. Not a fan.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Buck's got a good voice.

    Trivia:

Who was the 1993 WS announcer for CBS?

    ReplyDelete
  72. Buck loves himself too much. It's too much about him.

Need to get through the middle of their lineup here!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Namesake, I'm with you. He's the anti-emotion announcer. He's got a great voice and is on point for the most part. I like the emotion of ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball crew much more.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I like buck's no call when its the home team player - gives off the crowds effect

    K - Tex

    ReplyDelete
  75. yeah Steve Philips was the best

    ReplyDelete
  76. I'm coming up blanks on Mcnabbulous's question - anyone else?

    ReplyDelete
  77. K-Rod - oh wait that already taken

    ReplyDelete
  78. 2 Ks for arod early...thats a statement.

    ReplyDelete
  79. C'Mon fellas, pretty recognizable voice, I actually like him. He did the postseason games for CBS for YEARS.

Doc - I'm looking for you on this one.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Anyone see Pedro's press conference today? He may be the most interesting athlete of all time.

    ReplyDelete
  81. wow - that's one hell of a Sunday lineup Fox - can't wait

    ReplyDelete
  82. Jack Buck and Costas are incorrect.

I know most of us blocked this out of our memory but he called the Joe Carter HR.

He also called multiple Braves, Twins, Blue Jays WS's.

    ReplyDelete
  83. McCarver worked with JAck Buck but not sure if it was them in '93

    ReplyDelete
  84. You're really hung up on Jack Buck, Doc.

    ReplyDelete
  85. McCarver was this person's partner.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Sean McDonough? Bob Uecker> It should have been Uecker

    ReplyDelete
  87. Sean McDonough is CORRECT. I always thought he did a pretty good job for CBS. He's still out there doing some commentary.

A good DW future debate would be all time announcers. Seems like we've got some discontent among the DW faithful.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Did anyone see Rollins and Howard's interview with Costas before the game today? It was hilarious. Rollins compared himself to Denzel.

    Sixers lost by 16.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Next quetions: Which 4 Phillies have won the NLCS MVP Award?

    ReplyDelete
  90. Howard, Sarge, Hamels, Trillo

    ReplyDelete
  91. CC got out of a jam in the first. Lee will be tested.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Berman is a circus act. He has his place.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I love the street smarts of JRoll and Utley

    ReplyDelete
  94. Its like WE WIN! movie - triple play - they called it a triple play...Eric Gregg I think

    ReplyDelete
  95. Total bullshit if they don't call that a DP.

    ReplyDelete
  96. DP nice! Glove - Schilling - said it above

    ReplyDelete
  97. it was the scmittdy 500 movie doc - bedrock was pissed

    ReplyDelete
  98. Another good inning for Lee. Phils need more runs!

    ReplyDelete
  99. Good call doc...Remember Dallas Green going nuts after that?
