  1. Wassup DW!

Who would've thought going into the season that the Phils would have Pedro pitching game 6 against Pettite?

Unreal! This is the type of stuff you dream about.

Is this the slug-fest game we all thought would happen?

    If/when there's a game 7 it certainly won't be then.

    GO PHILS!!!

  2. Any predictions out there? Lets go Phils

  3. Buck's head dominates your head, Doc.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Gotta get after Petitte early

    ReplyDelete
  5. Pedro's gotta get through this lineup early. The 1st inning will tell us a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  6. That's true. First inning is very important - for both teams.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Here is where we slow down - petitte loves the pickoff move

    ReplyDelete
  8. Steal bases!!!! Posada can't throw

    ReplyDelete
  9. That's a 1st inning statement to Pedro - he'll match.

    ReplyDelete
  10. These high 70s pitches make me a bit nervous

    ReplyDelete
  11. Jeeeezus thought that was gone

    ReplyDelete
  12. Alright, good inning. Tex's hit was close as hell.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Either Texiera or Howard will break out tonight. That was close

    ReplyDelete
  14. I think you're right Doc - hopefully the latter.

It would follow suit this inning for Howard as a solo shot

    ReplyDelete
  15. Where are the rest of the DW commenters? As Doc would say, we need all hands on deck.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Apparently that was all junk by Pedro - no fastballs..or I hope that is the case bcause there wasnt much on them

    ReplyDelete
  17. This umpire is not consistent at all

    ReplyDelete
  18. I called out Spider - he should be on

    ReplyDelete
  19. I'd like to see Werth take a base here

    ReplyDelete
  20. I mean Pettite's got a super long windup and Posada has no arm!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Just have to time it...its very tough to judge his pickoff

    ReplyDelete
  22. Andy and Cole have figured out how to balk consistantly without a call

    ReplyDelete
  23. Four right handers to start next inning.

    ReplyDelete
  24. i say that only cause it would be just my luck considering I have to be up early tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Aroid - Matsui - Posada up for the Yanks

    ReplyDelete
  26. Any Yankee chants are numbed out by the extensive corporate seats - what a joke

    ReplyDelete
  27. Pedro is searching for a way to get outs here..He's not lasting long tonight

    ReplyDelete
  28. He doesn't have it. Get Happ up

    ReplyDelete
  29. Keep fighting Pedro - keep it close

    ReplyDelete
  30. Why'd he have to give up that HR? FUCK!

    ReplyDelete
  31. It just seems like they are swinging from their toes off him

    ReplyDelete
  32. Get out of this inning, Pedro. Two down.

    ReplyDelete
  33. How do we handle the first big hit? I like the response.

That's the difference between Pedro and Cole.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Hang tight with Pedro guys - that was just a great AB by Matsui.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I wanna see our bats answer them like they've answered us.

    Francisco, Ruiz, Rollins

    ReplyDelete
  36. He was too worried about Arod

    ReplyDelete
  37. there is an answer for you mcnabbulous

    ReplyDelete
  38. I love it! We're not giving up baby!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Nice. Got one back! Keep it going!

    ReplyDelete
  40. I'm not worried about Pedro collapsing - i'm worried that he doesn't quite have it tonight. Gotta keep an eye on him.

No doubt he will fight though

    ReplyDelete
  41. Nothing is over.....NOTHING!!! Name that Stallone movie.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Was the D'backs game in Arizona?

    ReplyDelete
  43. damn it Victo. He never pulls that shit.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Come on Shane - no room for error!!s

    ReplyDelete
  45. Damn Shane!

I think Game 7 against Arizona was in Arizona because I remember the crowd going nuts.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Rocky Movie? Wasn't that from a Lipton Brisk iced tea commercial?

    ReplyDelete
  47. Not the beach scene with Apollo?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Don't let this fielding mistake let them gain ground damnit!!!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Fight through this inning Pedro!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Judge Dredd is incorrect.

    Fuck guys!!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Bases loaded for Arod. Not a good situation to be in.

    ReplyDelete
  52. In the police depot at the end of First Blood with Colonel Troutman

    ReplyDelete
  53. Matsui has ripped every ball he's touched.

    ReplyDelete
  54. All Victo's fault. He catches that ball to start the inning and none of this happens.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Charlie rolled the dice here with Pedro and back to back leftys

    ReplyDelete
  56. The Yanks are giving us everything they've got here.

"This is your whole life right here.."

    ReplyDelete
  57. Still doable...

...Bring Happ in and get the bats going. We're going to score more than four runs.

    ReplyDelete
  58. McNabbulous...I still think the Stallone quote was from a Lipton Brisk commercial.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Did they just say Damon is out for the game?

    ReplyDelete
  60. Damon out is huuuuge.

You're right Spider but not the one I was thinking of and it wasn't in a Rocky movie, just the commercial.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Something needs to get the spark going for these guys. Need a long ball here Werth!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Nobody warming up for the Phils.

    ReplyDelete
  63. What is he rambling on about?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Feliz will come through before this is over.

    Either him or Benny.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Howard is the one that has to step up

    ReplyDelete
  66. Maybe Petitte will get tossed...He stopped to talk to West after the inning

    ReplyDelete
  67. We haven't been really getting good contact off of Pettite.

Come the 5th, 6th, and 7th innings we're going to get to him and the lack of rest is going to kill Girardi.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I hope you're right McNabbulous.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Will the baseball gods help Pedro and get to Pettite?

A pitcher who had a sub 3 era vs. a pitcher who extends his career via roids

    ReplyDelete
  70. Lets get some good contact off of this chump!!

    ReplyDelete
  71. Top of the order needs to get something going here.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Need Petitte out of the game..no good swings on him - not sure count

    ReplyDelete
  73. 4 straight balls to Ruiz..Rollins swings at the first pitch. I dont get that.

    ReplyDelete
  74. The Yanks have had a nearly perfect first half of the game. We're too good of a team to not get back in this thing.

    ReplyDelete
  75. 2 innings until Rivera. Short rest has not effected Petitte one bit

    ReplyDelete
  76. I don't get Rollins. Take away that game winning hit and he's come up short again this year in the postseason.

Victo, Utley, Howard due up in the 6th...Here we go!

    ReplyDelete
  77. Durbin has been good - need a 0

    ReplyDelete
  78. Good call bringing in Durbin. Jesus.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Guys - we're going to have an offensive explosion here. Not sure when, but it'll happen.

    Positive thoughts for the pen.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Why didnt Happ just start the inning?

    ReplyDelete
  81. There goes your mvp - fuckin king kong

    ReplyDelete
  82. Happ may have an excuse because he wasn't used properly........but he's been pretty bad this postseason

    ReplyDelete
  83. Matsui tied a WS record with 6 rbis

    ReplyDelete
  84. They need a big 6th inning. 3 or 4 runs, at least.

    This is very depressing.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Hey!

We were up on the Yanks late on Monday and they made a serious run at us. We need a few runs this inning to get back in this and show them that we're NOT going to lay down. Do I need to go back to Spider's Rocky IV comment?

Our lineup has HR hitters in pretty much every position.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I share a wall with a fuckin yankees fan...who said CC batista is going to pitch game 7 for the yankees and i just smile and nod my head.

I may need to be restrained tomorrow

    ReplyDelete
  87. Two hits is pathetic. Big inning here!

    ReplyDelete
  88. Is there a magnet set up in that left infield?

    ReplyDelete
  89. We need to get some life here..C'mon

    ReplyDelete
  90. Phils can score 6 at any time...but they just can't get anything going off petitte

    ReplyDelete
  91. 5 walks, 1 run..that cannot continue

    ReplyDelete
  92. That's a start! Good shit Howard!

    ReplyDelete
  93. keep it going - lets get to this pen before mo
