The Phillies exercised their club option on shortstop Jimmy Rollins' contract for the 2011 season, Senior Vice President and General Manager Ruben Amaro Jr. announced today. (press release)
Rollins signed a five-year, $40 million contract extension in June, 2005, will make 7.5 this season and 8.5 in 2011.
