Jason Stark is reporting that Carlos Carrasco, Jason Donald and Lou Marson have been pulled from the Iron Pigs lineup on Wednesday morning (11AM start) and that all signs are pointing the Phillies to Cliff Lee.
Take it for what it is worth, as there are millions of rumors floating out there but if the deal is Cliff Lee for those three players, I think it is a steal for the Phillies. Stark says the offer may be Carrasco, Jason Knapp and Trevor May.
Foxsports is reporting: The Phillies are in discussions with the Indians to obtain left-hander Cliff Lee and possibly another player for Class A right-hander Jason Knapp, Class AAA right-hander Carlos Carrasco, shortstop Jason Donald and catcher Lou Marson, according to a major-league source...Also the Dodgers are going to make a STRONG push

I would love the trade, but I feel like Happ would be in the trade for Lee because if not our rotation looks like this:

I don't know enough about Knapp to know how good he actually is but I like keeping Drabek on the team because he can be worked into the staff next year slowly and be ready to go when Lee is gown in 2011. Knapp seems like he is a few more years (and probably a TJ Surgery) away.
If this trade happens, we'll definitely be a better team and be in great position for the playoffs/World Series.
ahh yes, the performance enhancing surgery. That probably will deserve an * some day in Cooperstown too.
