Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports the Brewers have placed all-time saves leader Trevor Hoffman on waivers. According to SI.com's Jon Heyman, the Diamonbacks have placed right-handed closer Chad Qualls on waivers. In my opinion, the Phillies should have interest in either of the two in case Lidge continues to throw like he has. The asking price figures to be high though and I would bet neither get dealt.
Outfielder Mike Cameron, infielder Craig Counsell, catcher Jason Kendall, right-hander Braden Looper and second baseman Felipe Lopez have also been made available.
